In the lunchbreak I rushed out to another Christmas fair lining the street in the next block - a less elegant fair than the previous night's, with an artificially generated snow run which people of all ages spun down on giant tyres, shrieking - to take photographs of sausages, honey-cakes and, looking skywards, some fragments of Berlin's shiny new architecture. back next |
