A little advise to another film maker
Hi Sally. What seems like a long time ago now I worked as a Lighting Electrician on 'Yes'. This was a valuable experience but mostly I am working as a DP now in various forms. Along with two colleagues I have taken the plunge to make our first feature as a 'low-no'. Your advice in this area would in invaluable. A second specific question I have is I would like to approach Raymond Waring for the lead role. Firstly I would need to show my colleagues more of his work; which can of course be seen in ‘Yes’.

I do have his agents details but I am concerned that as we are unlikely to be able to pay him I would like to approach him directly first. Hopefully gaining his interest on the merit of the film alone.

Any help here would be great. peter@carbonark.com

your film
Somehow your message got 'buried'....i think i may have missed other peoples messages too. some messages feel like they deserve longer answers than i have time for. anyway : it is wonderful that you are planning a film and raymond is a great choice. i will ask someone in my office to find a way for you to contact him, but dont assume his agent will block communication...it might be the best way to contact him.
I wish you perseverance, stamina, and even some joy mixed in ! Go for it.
