I have found this to be an extremely subtle, strong way of working with the body, developing an awareness of the skeleton, and unravelling old familiar postural habits that 'feel' right but are in fact distortion. By implication, therefore, what 'feels' true in other areas is not necessarily always the best guide, so the lessons can be very helpful in other ways, and are not really just about how to sit, stand, walk (or perform) with economy and grace. in answer to your question: yes, I have known many actors , dancers and musicians whose work has been immensely helped by this way of working. Of course it also depends on the skill and perceptiveness of the individual teacher. By coincidence, I have an appointment with my own teacher tomorrow, the first time I have seen her in several years.
